I am happy to advise that TISI SANGAM will hold its election on February 17^{th, 2008. I encourage all those who are interested to serve on BOARD to apply. Please fill out the Board of Directors Application form and mail it to: Law Offices of Deborah A. Ram at 456 San Mateo Ave # 11, San Bruno, CA 94066. Please note that there is time constraint all applications need to reach the office, on or before January 31st, 2007. Our ByLaws are clear, we do not discriminate by any race, creed, gender or color. There are some criteria that needs to be met and those are very specifically stated in the form. <sup>Our annual election of the Board of Directors is scheduled for February 17, 2008. The venue will be decided at our Board meeting on December 15th, 2007. However, I recommend that we hold this meeting at an independent location, preferably at the Union City Sports Club. There are smaller halls available within this facility, I believe, at a very nominal rate of .00/hr. Mr.Arvinda Mani/ Mr. Kan Reddy, residents of Union City, can make this reservation subject to Board approval.

I have carefully gone over the election procedure with several Directors and after consulting with Ms. Ram, who graciously accepted our invitation to act as the Election Board Chairperson, I present to you the procedure below, hopefully accepted and approved by the full Board in their December 15th meeting.

Independent Election Board</sup>

<sup>I propose creation of an independent Election Board, comprised of three people to administer the election. I recommend that we appoint Ms. Deborah Ram, our corporate Attorney, as the chairperson, assisted by Mr. Kandappa Reddy and Mr. Jitendra Singh, MPA as her 2 most capable assistants. They will set their own election procedures and/or ground rules within the frame work of election procedures and practices approved by the Board of Directors at their regular meeting on December 15th, 2007.

The application forms will be made available to all interested parties. They will need to fill out the application and send it directly to the independent Board at Ms. Deborah Ram's Law office at 456 San Mateo Ave # 11, San Bruno, CA 94066 tel (650) 872 4086 on or before January 31st, 2008.}

^{Radio announcements will be made both in Bay Area and Sacramento area to invite prospective members to serve on the Board.}

^{The Independent Board will review the applications under their guidelines and collate the prospective applicants by their respective last name in alphabetical order in a simple ballot form for existing Directors to vote for their candidates on February 17th, 2008, to serve on Board as the new Directors in 2008. The ballot will be issued to the existing Directors on February 17 for their votes. All voting shall be independent and confidential. After the votes have been casred, the independent Board will tally all votes and announce the names of 17 directors who will serve on the Board for 2008.}

^{Upon announcement by the Independent Board, the President shall dissolve the 2007 Board of Directors and hold election for a chairperson within the newly elected directors, who will proceed to elect other officials, including President, Secretary, Treasurer and other committees. The appointments can be within the currently appointed Board or from outside. The new team under the chairmanship and Board of Directors will set their agenda, goals and strategies for 2008 and carry on the activities of SANGAM, until the next election.}
